The Saras webinar closed the cycle of meetings of the project “The new @school”. Simona Berri, General Counsel and Head of Corporate Affairs of the Sarlux refinery, was interviewed by four young students on the Facebook page of La Nuova Sardegna, with Pier Luigi Rubattu acting as host.

Businesses, universities and AIDIC join forces to support new graduates

The Saras Group, together with fellow Sardinian companies Ecotec and Fluorsid, has joined the ‘Merit Award 2020’ promoted by the Sardinia branch of AIDIC (Italian Association of Chemical Engineering). This initiative provides scholarships to the best bachelor graduates who have chosen to continue their studies at Cagliari University by enrolling in the Master’s Degree in Chemical and Biotechnological Process Engineering.

Sarlux: ISO 50001 certification renewed by RINA

In July 2020 Sarlux, the Saras Group refinery, obtained renewal of its ISO 50001 certification, the standard for implementing and maintaining an Energy Management System (EMS), as revised in 2018.

Environmental Statement 2020

The Sarlux refinery’s performance data, published in the 2020 Environmental Statement have been validated by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA Italy), which certified for 2019 too that the environmental data surveyed at the Sarlux site comply with the EMAS regulations.
