Award of the merit Stars at the Cagliari Viceroy’s Palace, home to the Prefecture
Merit Stars rained down on Sarlux, on Labour Day. The award ceremony was held at the Viceroy’s Palace and was sponsored by the Cagliari Prefecture. Among the other authorities, Prefect Giuliana Perrotta and the Mayor of Cagliari Massimo Zedda awarded Stars to many of the worthy workers of Sardinia, who had left their mark in their chosen field. This Honour Award set up by the President of the Republic recognises those workers who during their career stood out for “commitment and skill”. Of the 19 Stars assigned to the Island, 7 went to Sarlux employees: Francesco Arui, Maurizio Gatto, Salvatore Mandas, Antonello Pani, Paolo Rocca, Mariano Russo and Carlo Sanna.
