Students in action

Students in action: When School Meets the World of Work
For 2025, our school projects will involve high schools across the region, offering students unique and stimulating learning experiences. During the month of March, students from the CAT Leonardo da Vinci Technological Institute in Lanusei and the Zappa Pitagora Technical Institute in Seui embarked on an educational program that combined theory and practice, transforming school into a bridge to the world of manufacturing.

After exploring the Ulassai wind farm to learn about renewable energy, the students visited the Sarlux refinery, where Saras technicians and managers held interesting discussions. During the meeting, we discussed electricity generation, water conservation through recycling and desalination, and innovative topics and technologies such as cybersecurity.
We believe that action is the foundation of every transformation. It is with this spirit that we offer educational activities that can “fuel” the future of young people. Producing sustainable energy is our profession; promoting “social energy” is our responsibility to the communities that host us. We share knowledge and stimulate students’ curiosity, inspiring them to build a successful future, filled with professional and intellectual energy.

It was an interesting visit, also because of the different learning method. I was amazed by the amount of information I didn’t know about this industry.
Alessandro
A very interesting morning; I learned new concepts with topics not only related to my studies, but which also captured my attention.
Marco
A wonderful day spent at Saras, a highly formative experience that, if possible, I would gladly repeat. Complex topics, but very clear explanations from kind and attentive technicians who answered all our questions. Thank you.
Giacomo
We are proud of these activities and are convinced that constant dialogue with the local community fosters the social, economic, and cultural development of the community.
