size=&#8221;sm&#8221; align=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;36px&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row full_width=&#8221;stretch_row&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1675854293723{border-bottom-width: 1px !important;padding-bottom: 4px !important;border-bottom-color: #0056a6 !important;border-bottom-style: solid !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3>THE B-BS PROTOCOL<\/h3>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;10px&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row full_width=&#8221;stretch_row&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>The B-BS protocol is divided into three phases:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All workers, on a rotating basis:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>observe the behavior of their colleagues during performance of their duties;<\/li>\n<li>record their observations of behavior on a form;<\/li>\n<li>give feedback to the observed colleagues;<\/li>\n<li>upload the observed data and their comments to a dedicated system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]Once a month, <strong>the HSE Committee<\/strong> (composed of operations managers, operations supervisors and HSE analysts):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>reviews each plant unit\u2019s event reports;<\/li>\n<li>reviews the observation and behavior charts;<\/li>\n<li>establishes priorities for HSE maintenance activities;<\/li>\n<li>sets behavioral improvement targets;<\/li>\n<li>prepares the list of topics to be covered by the Shift manager \u2013 worker meetings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After the data analysis by the HSE Committee, staff meetings of the production units concerned are held to report on the results of the analysis and set improvement targets.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row full_width=&#8221;stretch_row&#8221;][vc_column][vc_separator color=&#8221;custom&#8221; In essence, the greatest influence in regulating, inhibiting and modifying behaviors are the consequences, not the antecedents, which merely evoke a behavior, i.e. they lead an individual to perform a behavior the first time, provided it is already included in the person\u2019s toolkit of learned responses.
