This is what has stimulated Saras S.p.a. to sponsor a competition for sports associations established or operating in the territory of Sarroch, the prize being a \u20ac 2,000 contribution for the purchase of sports equipment, or to cover running costs. The prime aim of the prize \u201cSaras for Sport\u201d is to allow the smaller sports clubs to continue competing to excel.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><u>The call for submissions<\/u>. The logic of this competition, organised in collaboration with the Municipality of Sarroch, is quite simple: the prize goes to the club that excelled in terms of sports performance or for its social initiatives. Participants are asked to describe the target achieved on their application form which can be downloaded from site www.sarlux.saras.it from 22 September, and should be sent to the following address: relazioni.esterne@saras.it by 31 October. A committee will evaluate applications and the rationale accompanying them, and the winner will receive the prize during a public ceremony from the Head of the Sports Department of the Municipality of Sarroch, Mirko Spiga.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><u>Saras and sport<\/u>. The title of the prize summarises the support our Company has long given to various sports clubs on the Island, in particular those which have a link with the territory of Sarroch. In 2015, for example, we launched the project \u201cSafe sport at Sarroch\u201d, equipping all the sports facilities in town with defibrillators, which were handed over by players of the Cagliari football team, Alessandro Deiola and Nicol\u00f2 Barella, during a ceremony held on 22 October 2015.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sarlux.saras.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Saras-per-lo-sport.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Saras for
