Continuing a tradition of fruitful collaboration with schools, mainly through work placement schemes for students,
\nThe Saras Group has participated in the new \u2018Business in action\u2019<\/strong> programme,
\nin collaboration with the Association Sardegna 2050 and in support of the national Junior Achievement network.<\/p>\n

Under the programme, developed in early 2018, we mentored the pupils
\nof two high school classes, to help them start up mini-enterprises<\/strong>. The students were involved in dynamic activities,
\nincluding group work, simulations, video lessons, forms and tests.<\/p>\n

They also had regular meetings with our experts, <\/strong>during which even complex topics
\nwere covered in a simple and hands-on way to encourage and support the start-ups<\/strong> created by the youngsters
\n<\/strong>from the business idea to the business plan, all the way to production, sales and marketing.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

At the end of the activities of the \u2018Business in action\u2019<\/strong> programme,
\non Wednesday 23 May, the final session of the regional competition was held.<\/p>\n

At the Mediateca del Mediterraneo in Cagliari, 33 high school classes, comprising almost 600 students<\/strong>,
\nvied to convince the judges\u2019 panel of the value of their business idea, exhibiting their products and services,
\ntalking to the public, answering the judges\u2019 questions
\nand showing their video-pitches on their mini-start-up<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The winner of the competition was Class III C of the Tortoli ITC High School <\/strong>with their product InBookHouse<\/strong>,
\nan online platform for the sale and exchange of schoolbooks and students\u2019 notes.
\nThe class will participate in the national competition scheduled for early June.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Second and third place went respectively to the students of Oggiano School of Siniscola <\/strong>and to those of the Giua Institute of Cagliari<\/strong>.
\nThe prize-giving ceremony was held at the Teatro Massimo in Cagliari, with prizes offered by the Saras Group and the Confindustria Giovani.<\/p>\n

The fourth edition of the contest raIn -Tell me about Innovation<\/strong> was also held on the same occasion.<\/p>\n

At the Teatro Massimo, the president of Sarlux <\/strong>Francesco Marini awarded the prize to the best of the 33 video-pitches
\nproduced by the classes participating in the “Business in Action” programme.<\/p>\n

This year, the top prize of the competition went to mini-start-up Ogliastra 360<\/strong>, by Class IV A of the Tortoli ITI School<\/strong>,
\nwhich produced a digital and paper map of tourist sites in Ogliastra.<\/p>\n
