The collaboration between Saras Group <\/strong>and theUniversity of Cagliari <\/strong>continues. The aim is to create a bridge between university education and the technical and managerial skills of the Group\u2019s people, built in more than 50 years of industrial operations.
\nThe aim is to provide continuing education<\/strong>, in order to face up to the new challenges brought by industry 4.0
\n<\/strong>and to help young Sardinian graduates find employment matching their skills in the local community.<\/p>\n

For this reason, this year too, the prize-giving ceremony was held in the great hall of the Department of Engineering<\/strong>, in conjunction with the bachelor\u2019s degree graduation session and with the support and presence of several representatives of the chemical engineering industry in Sardinia.
\nThe awards went to the five best recent graduates of the three-year course in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnological Processes, who confirmed they intend to continue their studies for the master\u2019s degree at the University of Cagliari<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The award-winning students received a scholarship from Saras, Fluorsid, Ecotec, Ecoserdiana and AIDIC and a voucher for an internship in one of the main industrial companies in the area<\/strong>.
\nThe Saras Group, Fluorsid, Ecotec and Ecoserdiana have joined the initiative of AIDIC (Italian Association of Chemical Engineering), which aims to stem the brain drain from Sardinia.<\/p>\n

The coordinator of the Chemical Engineering course at Cagliari University, speaking also on behalf of the \u2018sponsors\u2019 that supported the second edition of the initiative,
\ncommended the joint work done by Companies and the University to build and maintain a pool of highly skilled professionals in Sardinia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2018The best chemical engineers who have decided to complete their university studies in Sardinia have been rewarded. These young colleagues are an important resource for the economic and social development of our territory and confirm the good work done by the university\u2019 was the comment from the president of AIDIC Sardinia and of Sarlux, Francesco Marini <\/strong>after the vouchers were presented to the winners at the end of the graduation ceremony.<\/p>\n

The coordinator of the Chemical Engineering course at Cagliari University, Professor Massimiliano Grosso, was flanked by the teachers of the graduation commission Simonetta Palmas<\/strong>, Stefania Tronci<\/strong>, Roberto Baratti<\/strong>, Roberta Licheri<\/strong>, Simone Ferrari<\/strong> and Michela Mascia<\/strong>.
\nFor AIDIC, the Saras Group, Fluorsid, Ecotec and Ecoserdiana, in addition to Francesco Marini (Aidic and Saras), the following were present: Milena Atzori <\/strong>(Saras), Ecotec, Marco Congiu <\/strong>(Ecoserdiana) and Fabrizio Caschili <\/strong>(Fluorsid).<\/p>\n
