\n<\/strong>Today, Saras is one of the top companies in Italy in terms of turnover and the largest in Sardinia, as well as the second largest employer: 90% of the Saras workforce is based in Sardinia<\/strong>.
\nSaras, which has its registered office and tax residence on the island<\/strong>, pays \u20ac\u00a0456 million<\/strong> in taxes, making up 5% <\/strong>of the Regional Government\u2019s budget.<\/p>\n

INVESTMENTS<\/strong>
\nIn a period of generalised slowdown of the economy, in both the public and private sector, we have invested more than \u20ac\u00a02 billion in 12 years and have budgeted a further \u20ac\u00a0800 million of investments in 2018-21, mainly in safety, the environment and IT processes.<\/p>\n

SARDINIA\u2019S ECONOMY<\/strong>
\nWe supply goods and services of about \u20ac\u00a0237 million to various economic sectors, 98% of which in the province of Cagliari. Adding up the direct and indirect components, our contribution to Sardinia\u2019s economy exceeds \u20ac\u00a0470 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

TERRITORY<\/strong>
\nThe refinery at Sarroch has spurred the development of an ecosystem of small and medium-sized ancillary enterprises, which generate value and grow in synergy with Sarlux<\/strong>, by supplying it with high-tech goods and services and developing expertise they can also offer to other industrial companies.<\/p>\n

We promote the social and cultural growth of our territory <\/strong>through projects in partnerships with associations and institutions, which reach about 2500 young people <\/strong>through sport and cultural activities.
