{"id":542828,"date":"2020-06-29T17:30:41","date_gmt":"2020-06-29T17:30:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sarlux.saras.it\/distance-learning-sarasforschool\/"},"modified":"2022-05-09T15:06:56","modified_gmt":"2022-05-09T15:06:56","slug":"distance-learning-sarasforschool","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sarlux.saras.it\/en\/distance-learning-sarasforschool\/","title":{"rendered":"Distance Learning #Sarasforschool"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]During the lockdown, the <strong>Saras Group and Anpal Servizi<\/strong> developed the <i>Soft Skills and Orientation Paths<\/i> using <strong>distance learning tools<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Saras school projects for 2020<\/strong>, which started at the beginning of the year with the customary talks in schools, visits to the Sarlux refinery and thematic workshops, <strong>introduced this innovation<\/strong> to give students the opportunity to pick up from the work done over the previous months and complete it using new platforms and tools.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;16px&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;542808&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;542810&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;16px&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Distance learning<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The aim of the <strong>#educational paths<\/strong> is to introduce high school students to the <strong>core values of corporate culture<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The project, launched with <strong>five high schools in Sardinia<\/strong> &#8211; Istituto Scano in Cagliari, Asproni Fermi in Iglesias, ITI in Tortol\u00ec, Loi in Carbonia and Gramsci in Tonara &#8211; involved 150 students, 30 from each school, who received overall <strong>60 hours of educational activities<\/strong> in various forms: talks in the schools, visits to the Sarlux refinery and thematic workshops.<\/p>\n<p>In the months of March, April and May, the project continued with <strong>online workshops<\/strong>, three very successful digital meetings between the students, the schools\u2019 teachers and the Group\u2019s managers, addressing the issues of <strong>workplace safety, sustainability, and company management and organisation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The meetings also provided the students with career guidance on entering the labour market or the choice of university education.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;16px&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;16px&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;542772&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;542774&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;16px&#8221;][vc_icon icon_fontawesome=&#8221;fa fa-cog&#8221; size=&#8221;sm&#8221; align=&#8221;center&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1590591711750{background-color: #f5f5f5 !important;}&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1594370596368{margin-right: 30px !important;margin-bottom: 60px !important;margin-left: 30px !important;}&#8221;]<br \/>\n<strong style=\"font-size: 30px;\">Interesting feedback<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The distance learning sessions offered Saras an excellent opportunity to collect the impressions of pupils and teachers. Here are some of their comments.<\/p>\n<p>To the question \u201cwhich aspects were you most impressed by\u201d some students answered:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #0056a6;\"><em>I was impressed by the strong focus on safety, the consistent use of PPE and the concept of safety culture.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #0056a6;\"><em>I was also happy with the regard and attention given to us students.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #0056a6;\"><em>The best out-of-school experience, I&#8217;d been waiting for it since I was in third form.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>One teacher commented:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #0056a6;\"><em>I was struck by the students\u2019 feedback, as they describe the company with the same words with which it was described to us in this experience, and the same words used by many of my friends who work here. Directly and through its subsidiaries, the Group sells and distributes petroleum products on national and international markets. In addition, the Group produces and sells electricity through its subsidiaries Sarlux Srl (IGCC plant) and Sardeolica Srl (wind farm).
