2026 Intermunicipal Children’s Olympics
Five Municipalities Come Together for a Day of Sports, Inclusion, and Growth
On June 5th, the Santa Rosa Stadium in Capoterra hosted the 2026 edition of the Intermunicipal Children’s Olympics, involving over 500 children from preschools in Capoterra, Sarroch, Pula, Villa San Pietro, and Domus de Maria.
The initiative, realized thanks to the collaboration between municipal administrations, schools, and sports associations, and with the support of Saras, offered children a morning dedicated to exercise, play, and socialization.
An educational journey through sports
The event confirms the local community’s commitment to creating growth opportunities for children through activities that combine education, inclusion, and participation. Sport, presented in the form of games and physical activity, becomes a tool for developing collaboration, respect for rules, managing emotions, and connecting with others: skills that accompany children throughout their academic and personal journeys.
A festive and inclusive atmosphere
The day was characterized by a strong spirit of sharing: children from diverse backgrounds had the opportunity to play together in a welcoming environment.
The participation of Pully, Cagliari Calcio’s mascot, was also greatly appreciated. He was present thanks to the support of Saras, and provided lively snack breaks, providing moments of fun for the participants.
