EMAS Registration Renewed: A Result That Speaks of Our Commitment
The Sarlux plant in Sarroch has renewed its EMAS Registration. This is an important recognition, as EMAS is a voluntary European Union tool that rewards organizations that demonstrate, with verified data, their commitment to continuously improving their environmental performance and to periodically verifying that their management system is truly adequate, effective, and consistent with environmental objectives, regulatory compliance, and the reduction of the company’s impacts.
To achieve renewal, Sarlux successfully passed the assessments of an accredited environmental verifier, who evaluated both our management system and the quality and transparency of the environmental information we disclose annually.
This result confirms that:
- we operate a robust and European-recognized environmental management system;
- we constantly improve our performance;
- we share environmental data in a transparent and verified manner;
- we voluntarily choose a higher level of responsibility than legal requirements.
