Sarlux Environmental Statement

The Sarlux Environmental Statement 2025–2027, updated for 2025, for the Sarroch plant, prepared in accordance with the European EMAS system, is available online. The Statement is the tool used by EMAS-registered organizations to disclose their environmental performance through updated indicators and improvement actions.

The objective is to ensure transparent relationships with all stakeholders, particularly citizens, institutions, and workers, ensuring access to the plant’s environmental information. Environmental management is based on collaborations with research institutions, plant investments, and innovative solutions aimed at reducing environmental impact, including through process digitalization.
The document is reviewed by an accredited environmental auditor, who assesses the adequacy of the Health, Safety, and Environment Management System (HSE) in compliance with UNI EN ISO 14001 and UNI EN ISO 45001 standards, as well as the accuracy of the disclosed data.
As required by the EMAS Regulation, each release and/or update of the Environmental Statement is made publicly available upon completion of the validation process of the data contained in the Environmental Statement, conducted for Sarlux by LRQA Italy, an accredited and independent environmental verifier, and subsequent review of the document by the competent authorities.
For Sarlux, continuous improvement of environmental performance is an integral part of its commitment to the local community. Since 2008, Sarlux has voluntarily participated in the European eco-management and audit scheme EMAS, and since 2009, the Group has published its Environmental Statement annually.
The 2025–2027 Statement is divided into four sections: corporate context, environmental policy, environmental aspects and key indicators, and improvement actions.
